Apple Blossom Festival

We took the kids to the Apple Blossom Festival this week in Wenatchee, WA. It's about an hour or so southwest of here. This goes right along with the whole EXPERIENCE everything while we live up here motto. We discovered that the locals had sort of been there, done that, but we had a blast. And there was NO shortage of people. They had a parade, a huge craft fair in the park with tons of food and craft vendors! We also hit the boat races which was a new EXPERIENCE for all of us. It was awesome. To see those boats race at over 160 mph was incredible. We had a great picnic there, and then headed back to the food fair. We horked down snow cones, cotton candy, chocolate dipped strawberries on a stick, dippin' dots, funnel cakes, curly fries, corn dogs and hamburgers, just to name a few. You name it, we ate it! We had such a great weekend and I hope the kids will remember these EXPERIENCES and have fond memories of them. Alright Washington, what else ya got???

That sounds like so much fun! What a fun time for you guys. And, congratulations on your horking! (I've never heard this word before but I'm open to any verb describing the action of overeating)
