On our way out of town

Here are a couple of pictures of the kids at the airport. We're on our way to Moses Lake!
We had a very tearful goodbye with family before we left. We are so lucky to have such an awesome family, that is so supportive of us. We love you all, and can't wait to see you

Christmas morning

This is Christmas morning at 5:30am. That's as long as we could hold them off! (Notice how tired the girls eyes are) Lucky for us, Colton wakes everyone up!

A WII game Whit asked Santa for

Kennedy wanted this "cittar" sooooo bad!

We had a very merry Christmas!

Countdown to "D" Day

We have had a really ROUGH couple of days. (I promise my whole blog is not going to be about how crappy life it, but right now it sort of feels that way) ANYWAY, Thursday night, some friends of ourshad a little going away get together. I was sort of dreading it, because I figured I'd cry through the whole night! Well, I kept it together pretty well, and really enjoyed myself. So many of our friends, and lots of my kids teachers were able to come. Thanks to Vicki and Stacey for putting that together!

(Kennedy & Mrs. Motroni)
Then, came Friday. I took my kids to school for the last time. I was on the verge of tears all morning, but held it together. I had to go into the school to return library books, and to say a quick goodbye to the office staff. I lost it! I do pretty good until other people cry and when Mrs. Kris started to choke up, that was it!
(Whit & Mrs. Melki)
The kids only had a half day, and Colton cried off and on all after noon. That pretty much ripped my heart out. I think it was harder than he thought it would be to say goodbye to everyone. Luckily, the girls did okay.

Then this morning, I had to go help my mom. She plays the piano for her ward choir, and she needed me to turn the pages to her music. So the whole choir is there, practicing, and my mom and I are both bawling at the piano. This is getting harder by the minute!

We're headed out to dinner with the Kahle's for the last time tonight. Tracy and I have done pretty well together so far, but tonight could change all that! We have such awesome friends, and each one of you has had a special place in our lives!

AHHHHHH!

So this is pretty much how I'm feeling right now. Trying to get everything done for Christmas, and the move, I'm about to lose it!!! I love this time of year, but this year I'll be glad when it's over! I thought I was ahead of the game too-not sure what happened. Anyway, Merry Freakin' Christmas

Drumroll Please

So we finally did it! After going around and around, and from dealer to dealer, we got it. This is what we ended up with, and I LOVE IT!!!
We weren't going to get another Tahoe because of the gas, but we just couldn't pass this one up. It has all of the "extras" that we would never have needed, but hey if they're on it already, I'll take it! Thanks Landon

New Car-Oh My!

So here's the car that I think I'm going to get. If you read my blog from the other day, I was frustrated with my car! In fact, I believe that I demanded a new car from Lan. So, he's in town this weekend, and we spent most of this afternoon at the Saturn dealership. Now, if you know Landon at all, that is never a fun experience. He hates car salesmen, and thinks that no matter what, they're rippin' him off! I spend the whole time trying to keep him calm. I asked him today to give me some kind of sign if he was going to go into come kind of rage, so that I could excuse myself before it happend. This is the sign- The Rally Cap
Needless to say, we left there without my car, and we spent the whole ride home explaining how he hates the games they play, blah blah blah! Anyway-my dad keeps trying to tell me that I'm getting a glorified station wagon. Now, I have to be honest. I don't see the connection! It is really bothering me that he thinks it's a station wagon. Is it, and I just can't see it??

See Spot Travel

When Landon left to go back to Washington this morning, Kennedy came running in with her favorite stuffed animal and asked Landon if he would take "Spot" to see Washington. He hesitated because she sleeps with this dog every night! She insisted, so he did. He started sending me these pictures as he's been travel today!

The first one is here at the Phoenix airport

and then in the rental car in Spokane (notice the snow). Kennedy is lovin' it!!

Weekend Update

So here's a little recap of my weekend without Landon. Saturday night, both Colton and Whitley had planned a sleepover. I had promised Kennedy that we'd go see the movie Enchanted. Before I knew it, I had 6 kids with me, and we were headed for pizza and a movie YIKES. Did I mention that it rained all day Friday. I have a spot in my backyard that floods when we get that kind of rain, so I had to load up my gross, wet dog and take him to Landon's parents house to stay. (Anyone want a dog?) Saturday morning, after returning the neighbor kids, my kids started to complain that we were the only people in the whole world that didnt' have their christmas decorations up. So, I crawled up into the attic, and started dropping stuff out to Colton. Needless to say, our tree dropped from the attic to the ground! "It's really heavy mom" was Colton's response to that! Anyway, we ended up putting the lights on our house, and our tree is up and decorated YEAH. Sunday went off without a hitch. I got up this morning to take them to school, and my car wouldn't start! Luckily my mom lives close, and was able to get here to get them to school. I promptly called Landon to explain that we would be buying a new car for me this weekend. That I couldn't be here alone with a car that wouldn't start. (I only needed a new battery). To which he replied, "OKAY". Life's fun, isn't it??
