Let the Fun Begin
We took Landon to the airport this morning before church. He'll be gone for two weeks this time! I don't think there was a dry eye in my car. It's such a weird mixture of emotions. We want him to be home with us, so we're all anxious for this whole back and for thing to be over. However, when it is over (after christmas) it means that we will be in Washington. Anyway, wish me luck being alone with all of the craziness here!

I just saw your comment on Tara's blog and so linked over... so glad that you are blogging. Fun, huh!? Sorry Landon is gone... call us if you need anything!
Oh Amy, how I feel for you. Reality is starting to set in isn't it? You'll get through it somehow some way. Chin up! :)
Oh boy...do I remember those days. It was a total of about 4 months for us while Chad went back and forth. NOT FUN...my washer only overflowed 2 times, flooding my entire family room while Chad was in Utah. JOY!!! Luckily Jim saved me one of the times. :) I hope it's not so crazy for you. I want to hear more about your move etc. and what's going on in your life girl!
Landon has been gone for about a month now. It's not too bad, but Washington is looking better and better. We are moving to Moses Lake. It's about 1 1/2 from Spokane. We leave just after Christmas. SO CRAZY!!!! Anyway, how has the move to Utah been for you guys?? Your kids seem to have jumped right into everything. Where are you guys exactly?
The move to Utah has been AWESOME! We love it...we're in Draper just off 123rd South and 3rd East. I absolutely love my new house and my neighborhood is great! I love the way the houses sit back off the street and they seem so far apart from each other compared to AZ. We love it so far. There are always adjustments to be made...mostly school was a struggle to get used to the "year-round" track system but it's really not bad and we're liking it now. The boys had a great football season as you probably saw on my blog which really propelled us into the community. Chad was head coach again and loved every minute of it. The boys just started basketball now so we're just pluggin' along. We're anxious to hit the slops. My boys are taking a ski class for a few weeks since they've never been and then we hope to ski a few time through out the season. We pretty much just jumped in with both feet when we arrived and have loved it! I hope you will love your new place. I've never heard of Moses Lake. I'll have to see where that is on the map. I'm sure you'll love it up there. I have friends in Spokane and they love it. It will be fun to keep in touch with you through the blog! Are your kids excited about moving? What do they think? There will be a couple of months of adjustment but you'll love the change! CHANGE is always GOOD!!!
p.s. you picked great paper for your template...ha ha ha we're twinners!
That's so good to hear. I'm glad your kids are happy. I took ski lessons at Alta and I loved it! I think I was 8. It sounds like you're really close to where my brother is. Next time we go see him, I'll have to let you know. So do you know anything about a decor store names Tai pan? If not, let me introduce you- My kids are okay with it. There were definately some tears, and still are occationally. I think they're really excited about the "snow" aspect of our new life!! Plus, they miss their dad. Moses Lake is a small town of about 50,000. 1 gorcery store!! I'm a little freaked out! But, within the first week of Landon being at work, he had 5 or 6 men come up and ask if he was mormon, and say that they were and that the church was great up there. Lots of activities. Scouting was awesome. There's a gymnastics gym and new soccer fields. So I think we'll be fine. Costco is about 45 minutes away, as is Ross. So it will be an adjustment! I'll have to "go to town" for supplies! I'm sure we'll end up back in the valley with both of our parents being here. Talk to you soon-
(by the way, being new to this whole blog thing, should I respond to your questions on my blog or yours?? I'm still figuring this all out! Ya, I like your paper too. At least there not identical)
